A Washingtonian by birth, I'm a Pluviophile* in every sense of the word. While the Pacific Northwest will always feel like home, the world is now my stomping grounds and I'm rarely in one spot longer than six months (much to the dismay of my close friends). Such is the life of a missionary/full-time volunteer.

 

I like to get my hands dirty with just about every form of art, common and uncommon (care to Tat anyone?). I'm also a cook, writer-eventually author, fingers crossed-and amateur photographer. So be prepared to read about a wide variety of things here on the blog, such as all things Disney, Tolkien or Lewis related, missions, life around the world, and in general, artsy stuff.

 

As I mentioned above, I am a missionary. I live off of the support of other people, which makes it possible for me to travel around the world doing all kinds of ministry. I've done things from health care to art, and women's ministry to digging trenches. I appreciate each and every person who supports what I do, whether it was a one-time donation or monthly donations.
